Special facilities for cats in North London

To ensure that your cat’s visit to our practice is as stress-free as possible, we have purpose-built facilities to keep your cat calm and happy. We are a Gold Standard Cat Friendly Clinic and our Cat Advocates are always looking for ways to improve your cat’s experience.

Cat-only entrance

We have a separate entrance for you and your cat at our clinic We are proud to be the only local practice to offer completely separate cat and dog reception areas, consulting rooms and hospital wards. This provides a pleasant and calm experience for you and your pet.

Dedicated cat area

We know that cats have exceptional hearing and sense of smell, so we have a dedicated cat area where they are kept away from dogs and other distractions. This area has been created the help your cat relax, and our reception team are happy to discuss small adjustments and busy booking times to improve your cat’s wellbeing whilst with Animal Medical Centre.

Cat-only ward

Our dedicated cat-only ward is kept warm and secure, out of sight (and smell) of our dog ward and kennels.

Our cat hotel

If you’re going on holiday or your cat needs to stay with us for treatment, our dedicated cattery is ideal. There are single, double, triple and even quadruple suites available, each with toys and scratching posts to keep them entertained. You can find out more about tour Cat Hotel here .
