Dog facilities at Animal Medical Centre

Animal Medical Centre tries to help our dog patients to feel as comfortable as possible whilst visiting our team of dog vets .

Special facilities for dogs in North London

We do this with our tailored approaches but also our dog-friendly facilities. We are also proud to have our very own Dog's Trust Dog Advocate, whose focus in the practice is to continually improve the standard of care dogs receive, whilst reducing their stress levels.

Dog-only entrance

Our dog-only entrance means you don’t have to worry about meeting other animals when visiting our vet practice. Even if they’re not used to unfamiliar environments, their stress-levels and distractions are kept to a minimum.

Dedicated dog waiting area

To ensure that your canine companion is as calm as possible, we have an area used solely by dogs and their owners. This is a dedicated part of the building, not just an area separated by a desk like in so many other practices. It’s filled with toys and treats, keeping them happy during their visit.

Dog-only ward

Our dog-only ward has a range of cage and kennel sizes, so we can cater to the small to very large dogs. The team keeps the dog ward secure, comfortable and away from the sight and smell of their feline counterparts.

Isolation units

If your dog is being left with us for treatment, we have specialist isolation units where they can rest in a calm, safe environment. These isolation units also help stop the spread of illnesses, viruses and diseases.
