Alessandra
Veterinary SurgeonLucy
Student Veterinary NurseLucy is a Student Veterinary Nurse and has been part of our team since 2019, initially starting as a Veterinary Care Assistant.
She has always wanted to work with animals since a young age as she’s always had a strong love for them, especially her kitty Felix.
Lucy has spent her spare in the past time volunteering in catteries & kennels but her most memorable voluntary experience was away in South Africa, helping rehabilitate wildlife.
Amber
Practice ManagerAmber initially spent many years working and competing with horses in Somerset, along with caring for an accompanying range of cats, dogs, sheep, chickens and pigs.
She joined AMC in 2018 and enjoys greeting all the fabulous furry visitors, with a particular interest in dogs, which led to a qualification in Canine Sports Massage in 2019.
Hannah
Head of Nursing Registered Veterinary Nurse & ISFM Cat AdvocateLeading our nursing team is Hannah. Hannah grew up in the French countryside surrounded by animals and moved back to the UK in 2017.
Hannah joined AMC in 2022 after working and studying in north-west London as a Veterinary Nurse.
She enjoys all aspects of nursing but has a particular interest in felines and small animal nutrition and is planning to complete a diploma in feline nursing.
She enjoys climbing and discovering new places to try different cuisines in her spare time.

Client Care AssistantEtelka
Cattery AssistantEtelka joined AMC in 2021, prior to that she was volunteering for Cats Protection. Passionate about cats from a young age and loves all aspects of looking after them. When she’s not spending time with cats, she enjoys music, reading, running and fascinated by vintage fashion.
Megan
Veterinary Nurse RVN & Dog’s Trust Dog AdvocateMegan joined AMC in April 2019 as a Veterinary Nurse after finishing her degree in Veterinary Nursing at the Royal Veterinary College. She has successfully continued to hone her skills and enjoys all aspects of her varied and challenging role whilst caring for patients with her characteristically endless calm, attention and kindness.
In her spare time Megan likes socialising, reading and spending her time looking after her two Cocker Spaniels Mia and Suzie and her son James.
Harry
Student Veterinary NurseHarry joined AMC in August after graduating from a Zoo biology degree. He has always been around animals due to having a lot of pets ranging from Guinea pigs to a large dog, including a chinchilla. Harry has done work experience in clinical and non-clinical environments including at a horse hospital and a goat sanctuary.
Sarah
Client Care AssistantFor the past few years, Sarah has been working/volunteering with animals, building up her knowledge and experience. She was always interested in a career in veterinary nursing and hopes to begin studying soon.
Sarah has a particular love for dogs which has led to an interest in rescues. She aims to one day open her own rescue centre abroad to be able to treat dogs and help them to find their forever home.
Libby
Client Care AssistantLibby has always had a love for dogs and cats from a young age.
Over the past few years, Libby has been lucky enough to help out with a family member’s rescue/rehoming charity in Spain, where in 2015 she was able to rescue her own dog, Domino.
Dr Livia Benigni
Visiting Veterinary Surgeon DVM, MRCVS, CertVDI, DipECVDI, PGCertAP, FHEAAfter graduating in 1997 from the University of Pisa in Italy, Livia worked for three years in Internal Medicine (Cardiology) at the National Veterinary School of Alfort and in private practice in Paris (France).
She then moved to London and undertook diagnostic imaging specialist training for four years at the Royal Veterinary College (RVC), University of London.
During this time she gained the RCVS Certificate in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (CertVDI) and in 2005, the European Diploma in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (DipECVDI).
Dr Benigni worked at the RVC for further 10 years as a faculty member and clinical radiologist until 2015. During her time in academia, Dr Benigni obtained the Certificate in Academic Practice (PGCertAP) and became a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
Livia has many years of experience in all aspects of clinical application of diagnostic imaging, including image-guided biopsy techniques. She is particularly interested in the use of ultrasound and CT for the investigation and diagnosis of thoracic and abdominal diseases.
Livia has been an invited speaker at many national and international congresses and is widely published and respected in the veterinary field. She regularly provides diagnostic imaging CPD (Continuing Professional Development) in the UK and abroad for veterinary professionals.
James Creasey
Visiting Veterinary Surgeon BVSc (Hons) Cert SAS MRCVSJames graduated from Bristol Veterinary School in 2003 after which he joined the PDSA in Romford as a veterinary surgeon with a surgical bias. James spent 5 years working at Romford PDSA and seeing practice at the RVC. James passed his Certificate in Small Animal Surgery in 2009. Since 2009 he has worked as Group head of surgery for a busy group dealing with all complicated surgical cases and offering in-house referrals for practices in London and Essex.
Working in a very busy environment he has a broad range of experience in dealing with complex soft tissue and orthopaedic surgical cases. He enjoys all aspects of soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery but has particular interests in arthroscopy, the management of complex trauma cases, ENT and laparoscopic surgery.
Babis Koffas
Visiting Veterinary Surgeon DVM PhD DipECVIM – CA (Cardiology) MRCVSBabis graduated from the Aristotle University Veterinary School in Thessaloniki in Greece in 1988. After spending time as an intern and working in small animal practice, he then completed a PhD in feline cardiomyopathies at The Royal School of Veterinary Studies at The University of Edinburgh in 2003.
Next, Babis did a residency in small animal cardiology at The Royal Veterinary College in London. He then became a Diplomat of the European College of International Medicine (Cardiology) in 2007.
Babis has been offering referral services for small animals with cardiorespiratory diseases in the South East of England (including London) since 2007. He has had work published widely and has presented and lectured both nationally and internationally.
Babis enjoys all aspects of small animal cardiorespiratory medicine and has a particular interest in interventional cardiology.
Dwynwen
Veterinary Nurse & Owner RVNDwynwen graduated as a Veterinary Nurse in 1996 and has worked within the veterinary profession for almost 30 years.
Since becoming the owner of AMC in 2007, she has developed an already established practice which focuses on wellness and customised preventative health care for pets as well as client education.
